- Chicago police said a woman’s body was recovered just before noon Monday near the 3100 block of South Lake Shore Drive.
- Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the body is Linda Brown, and police said she is no longer considered a missing person.

- Prior to the recovery, surveillance placed Brown on Jan. 3 near 3500 S. Lake Park Ave. walking toward the lakefront, and her blue Honda Civic was found near 35th Street and Lake Park, family said.
