Missing Colorado Hiker Found Dead; Dog Survives by His Side for Over Two Months

71-Year-Old Rich Moore's Jack Russell Terrier, Finney, Miraculously Survives in Wilderness and is Reunited with Family

71-year-old hiker Rich Moore, who went missing on August 19 while climbing Blackhead Peak in Colorado, was found dead on October 30 by a hunter.
Moore's Jack Russell Terrier, Finney, was found alive and by his side, having survived in the wilderness for over two months.
Despite losing half her body weight, Finney was in relatively good shape and was taken to a local veterinary hospital for check-up and treatment.
Finney has since been reunited with Moore's family.
Officials do not suspect foul play in Moore's death, but the cause of death has not been officially released.
