Misiones Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Who Threatened to Suffocate Stolen Caniche

  • Four intruders raided a home in Ñu Porá, Misiones, stealing items and the family’s dog while the caretaker suffered a minor knife wound during a struggle.
  • Officers from Comisaría 14ª of Unidad Regional X, supported by the Comando Táctico Especial Fátima, deployed an operativo cerrojo that located the suspects.
  • When intercepted, the adult suspect threatened to asphyxiate the stolen caniche to avoid arrest, but police subdued him and rescued the dog unharmed.
  • The detainee was identified as Luciano Alberto V., 18, known as “Coco,” who has prior records and is now at the disposal of judicial authorities.
  • Two 15-year-olds and a 12-year-old were detained and transferred to the regional juvenile assistance center, and a brushcutter, backpack, and wrench were among the recovered items.
