Miraflores Adds January Free DNIe Campaign as RENIEC’s 2026 Rollout Widens Across Lima

The 2026 program sets aside 470,000 free electronic IDs for priority groups under an official RENIEC resolution.

Overview

  • Miraflores will offer no-cost DNIe 3.0 from January 12 to 30 for under‑17s, adults 60+ and people with disabilities at Casa Tovar and the Casa de la Mujer, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with limited daily slots.
  • Comas is running a free campaign from January 7 to February 13 at the Municipal Palace (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and San Juan de Lurigancho is operating January–February at Av. El Bosque 311 (8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), both for minors, seniors 60+ and people with disabilities, with daily quotas.
  • Villa El Salvador will provide the DNIe throughout January at the Villa del Adulto Mayor esplanade, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., for ages 0–16, 17‑year‑olds and people with disabilities.
  • RENIEC’s resolution authorizes 470,000 free DNIe in 2026 for children 0–16, adults who register as organ and tissue donors, people with disabilities, populations in poverty and personnel from the Armed Forces and National Police for electoral operations.
  • Duplicate requests continue under standard rules, with online fees of S/33 for adults and S/16 for minors for DNIe holders, while in-person duplicado is free for people with disabilities.
