Mira-Bhayandar to Open New Sub-Regional Transport Office with MH-58 Code

The Maharashtra government has approved a new sub-RTO in Mira-Bhayandar to address growing transport demands in the region.

The new sub-regional transport office (sub-RTO) in Mira-Bhayandar will operate under the MH-58 vehicle registration code.
Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik announced the decision, fulfilling a long-standing demand from the area's residents.
The sub-RTO will be located in Uttan, providing services such as driving licenses, vehicle fitness inspections, and road tax collection.
This will be the 58th sub-RTO in Maharashtra and aims to ease congestion at existing transport offices in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
The establishment reflects Mira-Bhayandar's rapid growth and increasing need for improved administrative and transport infrastructure.
