Minnesota Woman Sues Dentist for Negligent Treatment Leading to Disfigurement

Dr. Kevin Molldrem Accused of Administering Excessive Anesthesia and Performing Extensive Dental Work in a Single Visit

Kathleen Wilson has sued her dentist, Dr. Kevin Molldrem, for negligent treatment that she claims led to her disfigurement.
Wilson received four root canals, eight dental crowns, and 20 fillings in a single visit in July 2020.
Dr. Avrum Goldstein, an expert witness, stated that while Molldrem made the correct diagnosis, the treatment provided was of poor quality and did not address Wilson's susceptibility to dental disease.
Goldstein also noted that Molldrem administered an unsafe dosage of anesthesia, exceeding the maximum dosage by nearly double.
Wilson is seeking at least $50,000 in damages for medical costs, pain, embarrassment, disfigurement, and distress.
