Overview
- Voters will decide mayoral and city council seats in many cities, with some districts also putting school tax increases on the ballot and Duluth weighing a renters’ repair measure.
 - Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, St. Louis Park and Minnetonka use ranked-choice voting that may require multiple tabulation rounds.
 - Results will post precinct by precinct to the Secretary of State’s Office after polls close, with initial returns expected Tuesday night.
 - Some ranked-choice contests may take additional days to resolve as second and third choices are reallocated.
 - Anyone in line at 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast a ballot.
