Minnesota Twins Rehire Matt Borgschulte as Hitting Coach

Borgschulte returns to the Twins after three successful seasons with the Baltimore Orioles.

Borgschulte, 33, previously worked with the Twins organization at various minor league levels before joining the Orioles.
During his tenure with Baltimore, the Orioles ranked second in MLB for home runs and fourth in runs scored in 2024.
The Twins decided not to retain four coaches, including co-hitting coaches Rudy Hernandez and David Popkins, after a disappointing season finish.
Minnesota struggled offensively towards the end of the season, ranking second-worst in batting average in September.
The Twins ended their season with an 82-80 record, missing the playoffs due to a late-season slump.
