Travis Gienger from Anoka, Minnesota, secured his fourth consecutive win at the 51st World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, California.
Gienger's pumpkin, named Rudy, weighed 2,471 pounds, narrowly surpassing the second-place entry by just six pounds.
Despite not breaking his own world record from the previous year, Gienger's pumpkin earned him a prize of $9 per pound, totaling over $22,000.
Gienger attributed his success to maintaining healthy soil and plants, although he noted that a cold and rainy fall affected the pumpkin's growth.
The winning pumpkin will be featured at a Halloween event in Southern California, where it will be carved by professional artists.
