Minnesota High School Closed Following Fights, Arrests Made

Investigation underway to determine if incidents were racially motivated.

St. Louis Park High School in Minnesota was closed and multiple arrests were made after fights broke out between Somali and black students, with parents joining in.
Two adults, Latoys Milon and Abreeha Smith, were arrested after they got involved in a second altercation outside the school. Neither has been formally charged.
There were no major injuries reported, though some students and staff suffered some scrapes and bruises.
The school is actively gathering information and working closely with law enforcement to understand the full scope of these incidents, including whether or not the incidents were racially motivated.
Sanaiah Milon, a student involved in the incident, claimed that she was targeted by a classmate who she argued with months ago. She said that students informed her that she was going to get 'jumped.'
