Overview
- The break-ins occurred Oct. 9–13, with a single-day surge of 70 vehicles on Oct. 13.
- Most damage was reported in south Minneapolis, with additional cases on the North Side and near the University of Minnesota.
- Officers responded to hot spots including E. 35th St. at 24th Ave. S., W. 25th St. at Girard Ave. S., the 900 block of 27th Ave. S., and 31st Ave. S. at E. Franklin Ave.
- Investigators reported no arrests, found an unrelated stolen vehicle on Oct. 13, and have not released damage cost or stolen property totals.
- Residents are urged to file reports via 311 or 911, while prior August arrests of three juveniles in similar sprees have not been linked to the latest incidents.
