Mini Launches Countryman John Cooper Works in India at Rs 64.90 Lakh

The AWD performance crossover uses a 2.0-litre turbo engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch for a claimed 5.4-second 0–100 km/h.

Overview

  • This is the first ICE-powered version of the current-generation Countryman for India after the EV’s 2024 debut, with sales beginning following earlier bookings.
  • The JCW specification delivers 312 PS and 400 Nm via a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, paired with All4 all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DCT for a 250 km/h top speed.
  • Adaptive suspension is included as standard, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.4 kpl.
  • Cabin tech includes a 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment unit, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio, panoramic sunroof, powered ventilated heated front seats, heads-up display, wireless charging and a digital key.
  • Safety equipment comprises six airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera and electronic stability aids, while the Countryman platform holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.
