Overview
- The Ministry of Education confirmed the in-person National Test for Ascenso 2025 will be held on Sunday, November 23, with evaluation venues to be published on Monday, November 10 via its portal.
- The assessment will measure mastery of core pedagogy, current learning theories, subject-specific didactics, and disciplinary knowledge aligned to Peru’s curricular documents.
- The test lasts up to three hours and includes 60 questions scored at 1.5 points per correct answer for a maximum of 90 points, with no deductions for incorrect responses.
- Preliminary scores will be available from December 5 through the DIED application and Minedu portal, with appeals accepted December 6–12 and resolved December 10–18, followed by national-stage final results on December 18.
- After the exam, the Decentralized Stage begins with legajo updates December 10–22, verification January 6–21, preliminary results January 23, appeals January 26–29, final results February 3, publication of winners February 5–6, issuance of resolutions February 9–12, and promotions effective March 1, 2026.
