Minecraft Theme Parks Announced for UK and US in $110 Million Deal

Merlin Entertainments and Mojang Studios to launch immersive Minecraft attractions with plans for global expansion.

The first two Minecraft-themed attractions will open in the UK and US in 2026 and 2027, developed by Merlin Entertainments in partnership with Mojang Studios.
The attractions will feature rides, themed accommodations, retail spaces, and restaurants inspired by the block-building game.
Merlin Entertainments is investing over $110 million in the project, marking its first partnership with a gaming brand.
Guests will have access to interactive experiences, including digital touchpoints to unlock exclusive in-game Minecraft content.
Future plans include expanding the Minecraft attractions to other countries, building on the game's status as the best-selling video game of all time with over 300 million copies sold.
