Overview

• The Copper Age arrives September 30, adding copper tools and armor, copper chests, copper golems, shelves and a broader set of oxidizing decorative blocks.
• Copper golems are crafted from copper blocks and a carved pumpkin, sort items placed in a copper chest into nearby regular chests and will oxidize into statues unless waxed.
• When fully oxidized, copper golems become statues with selectable poses that emit distinct comparator signals, enabling new redstone contraptions.
• Copper tools are more durable than stone but below iron, copper armor sits between leather and iron, none of the gear oxidizes and many copper blocks patina over time unless waxed.
• Mojang also announced Mounts of Mayhem for Holiday 2025 featuring a new spear weapon, a tameable Nautilus mount that pauses air consumption and new mounted threats including drowned on zombie nautiluses and spear-wielding zombies on zombie horses.
