Mind the Gap’s Immersive Show ‘The Invite’ Premieres Sept. 17–20 at Bradford’s Beacon

Commissioned by Bradford 2025, the production is co-created with learning disabled and autistic artists.

Overview

  • Performances run daily at 2pm and 7:30pm at The Beacon in Lister Park, with £10 tickets for audiences aged 14+ available via Bradford2025.co.uk.
  • The immersive pub-set story unfolds over one night as six friends gather for a birthday, blending live music, movement and audience participation.
  • Confirmed access measures include wheelchair access, a relaxed environment, audio description and British Sign Language interpretation.
  • Bradford 2025 is presenting the commission in partnership with Mind the Gap, a Bradford-based company with more than 30 years of disability-led practice.
  • National Lottery funding, via Arts Council England and other programs, supports Mind the Gap’s work and has helped enable this premiere.
