• Jamal White, 7, was abducted at gunpoint around 7:00 p.m. on July 11 from outside his Milwaukee home and placed in a white Jeep Renegade.
• Authorities activated a Wisconsin Amber Alert within minutes, sending notifications via mobile networks and road signs to enlist public assistance.
• Neighbors and family members analyzed doorbell camera footage and conducted door-to-door searches in the affected neighborhoods.
• Police located White safe at approximately 6:36 p.m. on July 12 near 39th & Lloyd streets and returned him to his family.
• Investigators arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the case and referred charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
