Millwall sack manager Gary Rowett after poor start to season

Millwall and Gary Rowett have mutually agreed to part ways with the club 15th in the Championship.
Rowett departs after a disappointing start to the season with Millwall just three points away from the play-offs.
Rowett thanked the fans, staff and players for their support during his time as manager.
Chairman James Berylson has begun the search for Rowett's replacement.
Assistant Adam Barrett will take charge on an interim basis, assisted by coach Paul Robinson.
