• Miley Cyrus released her ninth studio album Something Beautiful on May 30, featuring 13 tracks that explore themes of love, loss and healing.
• A 55-minute visual film co-directed by Cyrus, Brendan Walter, Jacob Bixenman and Panos Cosmatos will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 6 before a limited U.S. and Canada theatrical run on June 12 and global screenings on June 27.
• Cyrus drew inspiration from Pink Floyd’s The Wall, branding the project a “one-of-a-kind pop opera fueled by fantasy” in interviews with fans and press.
• The album showcases collaborations with Alabama Shakes guitarist Brittany Howard on “Walk of Fame” and supermodel Naomi Campbell on “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved.”
