Overview
- At the sold-out 60th Festival de Jesús María, Milei joined Chaqueño Palavecino to sing “Amor salvaje” and told the crowd Córdoba helped make him president.
- He arrived in Córdoba late Friday and was flown by helicopter to Jesús María, with security handled by Gendarmería and provincial police; attendance was reported around 25,000–30,000.
- The president was accompanied by lower house speaker Martín Menem and LLA leaders, while Governor Martín Llaryora was on vacation and did not receive him.
- After the festival, Milei is set to travel to Asunción to witness the Mercosur–EU free trade agreement signing, a visit also aimed at reinforcing ties with Paraguay’s Santiago Peña.
- He then plans to continue to Davos for the World Economic Forum from Jan. 19–23 to court investors, and he has announced he will appear at the Derecha Fest in Mar del Plata on Jan. 27.
