Mild Weather Expected for New Year's Eve and Day

Isolated showers possible, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 40s.

• Most of the final day of 2023 is expected to be dry and cool, with a chance of a few spotty showers in the evening as temperatures fall to around 40 by midnight.
• An isolated shower or two remain possible on New Year’s Day, otherwise the day brings a bit of a chill and breeze.
• Mostly dry and seasonably cool weather then prevails into midweek, a nice change of pace after one of the wettest Decembers on record.
• New Year’s Eve temperatures are expected to climb through the 30s into the low 40s, becoming partly cloudy during the afternoon with highs in the mid-40s to near 50.
• New Year’s Day is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers possible, and daytime highs in the mid- to upper 40s.
