• At the Meritage Resort in Napa on Oct. 12, Mike Love introduced a photo tribute to Brian Wilson and wiped away tears as he addressed the crowd.
• Love told fans, "We lost Brian earlier this year, but he will always be in our hearts, it’s like he is still here," before the slideshow played.
• The set featured Beach Boys staples including California Girls, Surfin’ Safari, Wouldn’t It Be Nice and God Only Knows as images of Wilson appeared on screen.
• Wilson died on June 11 at age 82; two weeks later his cause of death was reported as respiratory arrest with sepsis and cystitis among contributing factors.
• The Napa date was billed as a make-up show, with Love’s son Christian leading a few songs and longtime member Bruce Johnston performing alongside the touring band.
