Mike Buddie Named New Athletic Director at TCU

Mike Buddie, previously the athletic director at Army since 2019, has been officially announced as TCU's new athletic director, replacing Jeremiah Donati.
Buddie led significant achievements at Army, including securing football-only membership in the American Athletic Conference and overseeing a record-breaking 12-win football season in 2024.
He spearheaded major fundraising efforts at Army, including the $170 million Michie Stadium Preservation Project, the largest gift-funded construction project in West Point's history.
Buddie’s prior experience at Furman included securing multimillion-dollar endowments and improving athletic programs with limited resources, demonstrating his ability to innovate and adapt.
At TCU, Buddie aims to navigate challenges like NIL, revenue sharing, and conference realignment while building on the Horned Frogs' strong athletic foundation and pursuit of championships.
