Overview

  • A recent MIIT homologation filing shows the Yangwang U9 Track Edition equipped with four 555 kW e-motors for a combined 2,220 kW (≈3,019 hp).
  • The filing lists a 350 km/h (217 mph) top speed and includes details on vehicle dimensions, a 2,900 mm wheelbase and a 2,480 kg kerb weight.
  • Circuit-focused upgrades noted in the documents include 20-inch wheels with 325/35 R20 tyres, carbon-fibre roof, fixed rear wing, adjustable diffuser and optional front splitter and electric rear wing.
  • BYD has not yet provided technical explanations for how it will achieve or sustain the doubled power output, precise 0–100 km/h times or enhancements to thermal management.
  • Final pricing, production timing and plans for export markets have not been announced, leaving launch details unconfirmed.
