• Malaika Mihambo has recovered from a febrile infection and is regaining her fitness after a forced break earlier this month.
• Her 2025 season will now begin on June 1 at the Goldenes Oval in Dresden, followed by meets in Rehlingen on June 8 and Stockholm a week later.
• A training camp in Belek, Turkey, helped Mihambo make up for lost time and prepare for the upcoming competitions.
• Coach Ulli Knapp believes Mihambo can achieve seven-meter jumps and contend for top placements at the World Championships in Tokyo from September 13–21.
• Teammate Mikaelle Assani, recovering from a serious tendon injury, is progressing but will miss the summer season entirely.
