  • West Yorkshire Police evacuated occupants from 14 properties and established a 300-metre cordon while Yorkshire Ambulance Service provided medical support on site.
  • Witnesses described the blast as sounding like a “nuclear bomb going off” as CCTV footage captured an initial fireball followed by smaller secondary explosions.
