Overview
- The Championship fixture is set for Friday 23 October with a 20:00 BST kick-off at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and live coverage on Sky Sports Football.
- Middlesbrough arrive unbeaten in their last nine league games and a win would place them at the top of the table.
- Will Lankshear, Middlesbrough’s leading scorer this season, is reported to have 11 goals and is expected to start after being rested last weekend.
- Bolton have shown improved form since the season began but have lost three of their last four home league matches and will be looking to correct that record under the Friday night lights.
- Pre-match previews publish similar predicted line-ups and favour Middlesbrough in betting markets while noting an extended recent sequence of Boro victories over Bolton, with sources differing slightly on whether that run is eight or nine games.
