Midair Collision of Two Small Planes in Arizona Kills Two

Marana Regional Airport, which operates without an air traffic control tower, had delayed plans for a tower due to supply chain issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This marks the second fatal aviation accident in Arizona this month and contributes to the 14 fatal aircraft incidents reported in the U.S. so far in 2025.
