Overview
- Microsoft disclosed Thursday, October 15, 2026, that the Xbox Nano is a new standalone pocket-sized controller measuring just over 13 centimetres and weighing about 99 grams.
- The Nano retains the full 18 standard inputs of an Xbox controller, including two analog sticks, a D-pad, ABXY buttons, shoulder buttons and triggers.
- The controller connects via Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth so it can pair with Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, Windows PCs, Android and iOS devices, and compatible smart TVs and streaming sticks.
- Power comes from an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery charged over USB-C, Microsoft has not published battery life or charge-time figures, and the package does not include a charging cable.
- Priced at €49.99 with preorders open, the Nano goes on sale November 4, 2026, and Microsoft is promoting limited U.S. bundles that pair the controller with select Samsung TVs or Meta VR headsets plus two months of Game Pass Ultimate.
