Microsoft Unveils New AI-Driven Cybersecurity Solutions and Tools

Microsoft has launched a series of new cybersecurity solutions, including Security Copilot and Defender XDR, aimed at unifying threat intelligence across all security apps, copilots, clouds, and platforms using generative AI.
Microsoft's new offerings include Copilot for Azure, a chat-driven assistant for cloud customers, and Copilot for Service, designed for customer service use cases and integrated with CRM software.
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Guides uses generative AI to provide frontline workers with potentially useful information and translates those summaries into overlays on equipment they're maintaining.
Microsoft has also launched Copilot Studio, a platform that delivers tools for connecting Copilot for Microsoft 365 to third-party data.
Microsoft's custom AI chip, Azure Maia, and Arm-powered Azure Cobalt CPU, designed to power its Azure data centers, are set to arrive in 2024.
