Microsoft Unveils Aptos As New Default Font For Office Apps

Aptos replaces Calibri as the default font across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The new font was designed by Steve Matteson, who also created Segoe, Microsoft's logo font.
Aptos was selected after a two-year process of gathering user feedback on potential new default fonts.
The font is described as having a humanist touch and improved readability over Calibri.
Users can still access Calibri and change the default font to their preference.
