Overview

• Microsoft is rolling out the Copilot app update to Windows Insiders in waves and requires version 1.25095.161.0 or higher.
• Users can generate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files directly from chat without switching apps.
• For responses of 600 characters or more, a default export button sends content straight to Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF.
• Opt-in Connectors enable access to OneDrive, Outlook, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts to handle account-specific requests.
• The rollout precedes a redesigned OneDrive app expected next year with a new gallery view, AI-powered slideshows and editing features.
