Microsoft Tests Seamless File Sharing Between iPhones and Windows PCs

Microsoft is rolling out a beta feature that enables file sharing between iPhones and Windows PCs via the Phone Link and Link to Windows apps.
The feature is currently available to users in the Windows Insider Program and requires iPhones running iOS 16 or higher.
Users can share files by selecting 'Link to Windows' on iPhones or 'My Phone' on Windows PCs, streamlining transfers without third-party apps.
This update builds on existing Phone Link capabilities, such as call handling, message syncing, and notifications, but remains limited due to Apple’s ecosystem restrictions.
Microsoft has not announced a timeline for a general release, but feedback from beta testing will guide further refinements and eventual rollout.
