- Default Game Profiles are hand-crafted per title, apply only on battery, and automatically set power targets and FPS caps to balance performance with runtime.
- If a game misses its target frame rate the system boosts power, and if it exceeds the target it limits FPS to save battery, with Microsoft citing nearly an extra hour in Hollow Knight: Silksong at 120 FPS.
- The preview covers about 40 games, including Fortnite, Gears of War: Reloaded, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Forza Horizon 5, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
- Profiles can be toggled in the Armoury Crate Command Center, and the update also improves gamepad responsiveness after login, speeds up large library loading, accelerates the cloud gaming page, and adds a Performance Fit filter.
