Microsoft Paint Introduces Unified Copilot Menu for AI Tools

The update, currently in preview for Windows Insiders, consolidates features like text-to-image generation and background removal into a single menu.

Microsoft Paint now features a Copilot button that organizes its AI tools, including Generative Fill, Remove Background, Image Creator, and Cocreator, into one accessible menu.
The update is part of the Windows 11 Insider Preview build for the Dev and Canary channels and is not yet available to all users.
Cocreator allows users to combine text prompts with sketches to generate polished artwork, while Image Creator uses OpenAI's DALL-E model to create images from text descriptions.
Additional features like Generative Erase and Remove Background enable users to seamlessly edit images by removing objects or backgrounds with AI assistance.
Microsoft is also enhancing Windows Search with natural language capabilities to locate files stored in OneDrive, though this feature is limited to Copilot+ PCs.
