Microsoft Mandates iPhones for China-Based Employees

Starting September, Microsoft will require its China staff to use iPhones for work to enhance security and streamline authentication.

Employees will use Microsoft Authenticator and Identity Pass apps available only on Apple's App Store.
Android devices are being phased out due to the absence of Google services in China.
Microsoft will provide iPhone 15 devices to employees currently using Android handsets.
The move follows multiple cyberattacks, including breaches by state-sponsored hackers from Russia and China.
