- Viva Engage communities can now add AI-powered agents in Public Preview for Microsoft 365 Copilot users, drafting responses to unanswered questions that admins or experts can review and mark as Verified.
- Agents are grounded in community conversations and the linked SharePoint site, can connect to additional sites, use advanced models including GPT-5, and include source citations visible via an agent hovercard.
- Admins receive review notifications in Teams and can activate, pause, or remove agents, with privacy controls ensuring answers only reference information accessible to all community members.
- Facilitator agents for Teams meetings are available now to create agendas, take notes, answer questions, and suggest time allotments, with document and task creation features in Public Preview and a mobile quick-capture option.
- Channel agents for Teams and knowledge agents in SharePoint are rolling out in preview to answer channel questions, generate status reports, and organize, tag, and summarize files.
