Microsoft Launches Beta for Edge Game Assist, an In-Game Browser for PC Gamers

The new overlay integrates with Game Bar on Windows 11, offering game-aware tips, guides, and multitasking tools.

Edge Game Assist is a new in-game browser overlay designed for PC gamers, now available in beta on Windows 11.
The feature integrates with Microsoft Game Bar and provides game-specific tips and guides for select titles, including Baldur’s Gate 3 and Diablo IV.
Users can pin the browser overlay on their screen to access walkthroughs, YouTube videos, or apps like Spotify and Discord while playing.
Game Assist syncs with the user’s main Edge browser, enabling seamless access to saved login details, cookies, and browsing data across devices.
Currently supporting mouse and keyboard setups, Microsoft plans to add controller and handheld support in future updates.
