• Copilot Chat and agents are now embedded as a content‑aware sidebar across Microsoft 365 apps, letting users query the open file and reference other files by typing "/" to search.
• Microsoft says the GPT‑5 rollout across Copilot is underway, bringing the latest model to the in‑app experience.
• A Microsoft 365 Copilot license enables reasoning over an organization’s work data, priority features and availability, faster responses, plus in‑app Researcher and Analyst agents.
