Microsoft Brings Copilot to Samsung’s 2025 TVs and Smart Monitors

The free voice assistant debuts with an animated on-screen presence on select models in limited markets, with expansion promised over time.

Overview

  • Microsoft says Copilot is rolling out now on Samsung displays as a voice-first assistant that appears as an animated character and presents answers as large, glanceable cards.
  • Supported 2025 models include Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame, and the M7, M8 and M9 Smart Monitors.
  • Users can open Copilot from the Apps Tab, Samsung Daily+, or Click to Search, then speak via the remote’s mic, with an optional QR sign-in to a Microsoft account for personalization and memory.
  • Capabilities include spoiler-free episode recaps, highly specific viewing recommendations, group-friendly picks, post-watch details, and everyday information requests with visual summaries.
  • The experience is available at no cost in select markets, with Microsoft and Samsung indicating that regional and model support will broaden over time.
