Overview

• The Windows 11 device offers native access to Xbox Game Pass, cloud streaming and major PC storefronts including Steam, Epic Games Store and Battle.net.
• It will support PC ports of Sony first-party hits such as God of War, The Last of Us and Horizon Forbidden West.
• Two versions will launch: the base ROG Xbox Ally with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, and the premium Ally X featuring 24 GB RAM, a 1 TB SSD and future AI-enhanced capabilities.
• A Summer Game Fest hands-on preview praised the console’s ergonomic, controller-inspired grips and a weight comparable to the Steam Deck for extended comfort.
• Initial availability will cover the US, UK, Australia and more than 20 other markets during the 2025 holiday season.
