Overview

  • The ROG Xbox Ally packs an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD while the Ally X upgrades to a Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB drive.
  • Both models feature a 7-inch 1080p 120 Hz touchscreen with FreeSync Premium, dual USB-C ports and ergonomic grips inspired by Xbox Wireless Controllers.
  • They support titles from Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Battle.net, GOG and Ubisoft Connect and will include a ‘verified for handheld’ label to highlight optimized games.
  • New buyers will receive a free trial of Xbox Game Pass, and the handhelds can stream console libraries via Xbox Cloud Gaming or Remote Play.
  • The ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X will launch in over 30 countries including the US, UK, Japan and Australia during the 2025 holiday season, with pricing details to be announced later.
