Michoacán Finalizes Security and Access Plan for Free Carín León Concert

Authorities will use a C5-operated command center with video surveillance alongside facial-recognition cameras at six access gates opening early for tomorrow’s free concert.

Overview

  • Six stadium gates will open at 16:00, following parking lot access at 15:00, each assigned to specific ticket zones.
  • A C5-operated command center will coordinate video surveillance towers, facial-recognition cameras and canine detection teams inside and outside the stadium.
  • Traffic units, ambulances and paramedics will manage road operations and provide on-site medical coverage.
  • Organizers anticipate more than 50,000 attendees and estimate the concert will generate roughly MXN 13 million in economic activity for Morelia.
  • The free concert is part of Festival Jalo x las Mujeres, which links event entry to a menstrual-product donation drive benefiting shelters and vulnerable communities.
