Michigan Wolverines head coach Juwan Howard reportedly had a confrontation with strength and conditioning coach Jon Sanderson during a recent practice, which is now under university review.
Reports indicate that Sanderson did not travel with the team for Sunday's game following the incident.
Howard, who recently rejoined the game-day staff as an assistant coach after undergoing a heart procedure in mid-September, has had altercations in the past, including a postgame confrontation with Wisconsin in February 2022.
Despite rumors of Howard stepping down, he remains the school’s head coach and is expected to return on December 16th.
The Wolverines, currently with a 5-5 record, face the possibility of failing to qualify for the Big Dance again.
