Michigan Woman Missing After Car Found Crashed in Huron Township Yard

Police fear she may be injured and are urging residents to check outbuildings and report any tips to investigators.

Overview

  • Her vehicle was discovered crashed in a backyard on Oct. 10 with the engine running and her phone and purse left inside.
  • Multiple agencies used drones, K-9 teams and water searches along the Huron River but have not located Kimberly McGrath.
  • Authorities say their primary concern is that McGrath could be injured and they are asking neighbors to check sheds, garages and cameras and call the Huron Township Police with information.
  • Family members say McGrath, 43, of Southgate worked as a delivery driver, was last heard from Oct. 9, left behind a pet cat and would be unlikely to disappear voluntarily.
  • Police are reviewing electronic data, executing search steps and continuing daily ground and river searches as relatives press for new leads.
