Michigan Tight End Colston Loveland Declares for 2025 NFL Draft

The record-setting junior is projected as a first-round pick after leading Michigan in receptions and earning All-Big Ten honors.

Colston Loveland, a junior tight end for Michigan, announced his decision to enter the 2025 NFL Draft via Instagram on Friday.
Loveland is ranked as one of the top tight ends in the draft class, with projections placing him as a potential first-round pick.
He set a Michigan single-season record for tight end receptions in 2024, leading the team with 56 catches, 582 receiving yards, and five touchdowns in 10 games.
Throughout his three-year college career, Loveland totaled 117 receptions, 1,466 yards, and 11 touchdowns, ranking among the program's all-time leaders for tight ends.
Loveland joins teammates Mason Graham and Will Johnson, also projected first-round picks, in declaring for the draft and opting out of Michigan's ReliaQuest Bowl matchup against Alabama on Dec. 31.
