  • Only four teams moved in the Dec. 29 USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, and each change was by a single spot.
  • Duke returned to the top five at No. 5, leapfrogging Purdue, which slipped to No. 6.
  • USC fell out of the Top 25, and Kentucky, Utah State and Auburn were among the teams listed as others receiving votes.
  • The SEC placed six teams in the poll, with Florida unchanged at No. 22 and Vanderbilt leading the league contingent at No. 11.
  • The 31-coach ballot kept Michigan atop on the strength of decisive wins, including a 102-50 rout of La Salle and a 34.3-point average margin since Nov. 19.
