• Harvest is scheduled for October 30 in Sault Ste. Marie before the spruce begins its trip to Lansing.
• Delivery to the Michigan Capitol is planned for November 1 with logistics led by DTMB and timber industry partners.
• Local Boy Scout troops will perform the traditional untying upon arrival at the Capitol grounds.
• HI-Ball Company of Lansing will hoist the tree into place near Capitol and East Michigan avenues.
• Lansing’s forestry team, the Michigan Capitol Commission, and the Lansing Board of Water & Light will prepare decorations for a 7:30 p.m. November 21 lighting during Silver Bells in the City.
