  • Michigan extended a scholarship offer on June 4 to Lake Nona High’s 5-foot-11, 160-pound safety Charles Woodson Jr., who announced it on social media.
  • Woodson Jr. camped with the Wolverines in previous summers and recorded 53 tackles, an interception and two pass breakups during his sophomore season.
  • The Class of 2027 recruit is ranked No. 31 among safeties and No. 284 overall in On3’s composite rankings.
  • He holds scholarship offers from Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Syracuse and Texas A&M, among others.
  • Michigan currently has no commitments in its 2027 class, making Woodson Jr.’s decision a priority for the program.
