Michigan News Anchor's Killer Sentenced to Life after Gruesome Murder

Arthur Williamson was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Detroit radio news anchor Jim Matthews and attack on Matthews' family.
Williamson, a friend of Matthews' girlfriend, attacked the family after smoking crack cocaine and bringing heroin to their home.
Williamson pleaded no contest to first-degree murder, assault with intent to murder, and unlawful imprisonment.
Matthews was found bludgeoned to death with a hammer in his Chesterfield Township home in September.
Matthews' family says Williamson ruined their lives and showed no remorse for his crimes.
